This is an inflammatory disease of the pancreas, which can occur in both chronic and acute form.In patients there is a violation of the outflow of pancreatic juice, as a result of which the enzymes contained in it do not enter the duodenum and remain in the organ. This results in the gradual destruction of the pancreas and can even be fatal. But a diagnosis is not a sentence. Change your diet and live a fulfilling life.
Every year, pancreatitis affects more and more people. If earlier this disease was considered a disease of adults, now it also occurs in adolescents.
The reasons may be different, but some of the most common are alcohol abuse and gallstone disease, as well as improper and excessive nutrition. Diet with pancreatic pancreatitis is a prerequisite.
Alcoholic beverages, excessively fatty, fried and spicy foods, generously flavored foods with chemicals, sweets, fast food inevitably lead to digestive disorders and complicate the course of pancreatitis. That is why a special diet is shown to patients.
Diet number 5 for pancreatitis
It is suitable for patients with chronic pancreatitis. Strict adherence to the principles of nutrition can relieve them of exacerbations. Patients with an acute form of the disease should be careful with diet and follow the doctor's instructions. Most often, immediately after the attack, the patient is prescribed several days of fasting, after which it is possible to gradually switch to this diet.
The main goal is to minimize inflammation in the pancreas and restore the production of pancreatic juice and essential enzymes, in other words, it can be called the optimal diet for the exacerbation of pancreatitis.
You need to eat in small portions every 2-3 hours. This will relieve the body of the excess load caused by the usual three meals a day. It is also necessary to observe the consumption regime: drink 2-3 liters of water per day, at least 20 minutes before meals and an hour after.
